Workpackage 3: Infrastructure and Security
Objectives:
This Workpackage focuses on producing the e-Health Grid Framework and technical roadmaps. Starting from the HealthGrid White Paper, the roadmap will identify key RTD activities needed to enable the deployment of HealthGrid technologies for e-Health. It will implement a process to present, discuss, and validate the identified RTD needs with the relevant RTD community.

healthgrids-roadmap I
- D.3.4. M18 Technology component roadmap II
Participants
- Leader: CNRS
- Parties: HealthGrid, UWE, ANL, ASGC
Workpackage 4: Activities specific for the Support Action
Objectives:
This Workpackage is to investigate the extent to which HealthGrid technology can be integrated into current European policy on health related research and innovation, health services delivery and health planning, specifically:
- to identify at the health systems level key health policy, legal and other socio-economic issues of relevance for the wider context of HealthGrid application,
- to identify at the organisational level socio-economic enablers and obstacles that help or hamper implementing HealthGrid systems,
- to delineate the RTD and implementation related issues and tasks in future deployment of healthgrids at the institutional, regional, national and trans-national level,
- to synthesise and identify initial / intermediate actions needed and milestones for the short term (2-5 years) and the long term (4-10 years) for a European and global RTD roadmap on legal, ethical and socio-economic issues of healthgrids.
Tasks:
